Avita transferred hq to the USA recently. Now achieved expanded access for recell technology. Just a matter of time before they also attack vitiligo?

“you might think Clinuvel has a dozen rejections from the FDA”

Not exactly sure if it were a dozen mate but the FDA rejected Epitan/Clinuvel relentlessly throughout the nineties and two thousands (even though safety was excellent even back then) and this is why they were forced to take the skin tanning drug to the EU.

I’m sure the FDA had good reasons for doing so JT?

Anywayz that’s old news right? We now have FDA approval even if Scenesse won’t be widely available for another decade if ever: it’s proven and approved.

In regards to safety it really is the most important thing to understand about scenesse and it’s future potential don’t you think?

Sure it’s well known inside the forums but outside most are confused and uncertain about the drug that has been around forever yet still struggling to gain traction, approved but locked away for a decade, some leading regulators still doubting efficacy whilst others allege “abuse potential”.

Seriously WTF is going on here they must think and invest elsewhere.

If I didn’t know what I know I’d be incredibly apprehensive about investing in Clinuvel too.

I know Afamelanotide is incredibly safe and effective and when dosed regularly it stimulates bulletproof photo protection just like an implant. This physical layer of natural EUMelanin undoubtedly prevents UVR damage and skin cancer and much more hopefully.

If I wasn’t certain about the safety there’s no way I’d still be invested in Clinuvel. I sleep well because of it.

If there’s one thing people need to know about Scenesse: safety it is!

It wasn't even a rejection. Epitan proposed a clinical trial for something that was not considered to be a disease, and the FDA was obliged to say no.

I can’t blame Epitan too much for that. Why is hair loss deemed acceptable, but not the inability to tan?

And there are so many snake oil products for cosmetics that don’t fall under the FDA that are less effective /some probably way more dangerous than Scenesse.

9 months since first XP patient was dosed 🦨💨🤔
Do we know if we’ll get an announcement when the new DNA repair trials begin? I remember Clinuvel explicitly saying they’d announce the first stroke patient being treated. I guess maybe because that was a completely new indication.

@Justinian Actually come to think of it, maybe they’re in the throes of it already (XP trials). I’m not sure if they were going to announce when the XP trials would start. I just assumed they would, given their habit of keeping investors fully abreast of all developments.😏
