Lowest basis competition. 12/20/13. Bought 3k shares for $1.08 each USD. Bottle of scotch when we meet in Vegas for any that can beat this.
12/18/2013 10:33:09Bought 1000 CLVLY @ 1.01

An argument to be made as to who wins. My price per share is lower, but you bought more shares.

I remember that winter being so full of anxiety that my CLVLY stock was whittling down to nothing, and debating with my friend (who introduced me to the stock) whether it was even a good idea to keep throwing money at a losing stock. I finally compromised by buying 1000 more shares. Now wish I had drained my bank accounts to buy every share possible at that price.

@Texas T. That’s a winner. The basis is the bet unless you are a bot! A bottle of scotch to you my friend. If you pick one over $150 then I get a shot. Max $200. Fair?

George, I'm not much of a scotch drinker so I'll be happy to share it with whoever makes the trip.

My first stock purchase, during what has been a 20-year investment in this company (Epitan at the time), was June 20, 2001. That was not long after the company first went public. I picked up 33,000 shares at $0.05. As the long-termers remember, Clinuvel eventually did a reverse 1:10 split after PW was on board to get away from being a penny stock. So my first 3,300 shares were bought at the equivalent of $0.50 each. As of today's CLVLY close of $30.35, that's a 60-bagger. My first 18,000 shares were all purchased for less than $1.10.

What got me interested in the company was a 2 or 3 sentence blurb I read in Men's Health magazine in 2001 about this possible, miracle "Barbie Drug."

You made a great (and savvy) purchase in 2013 at $1.08 with a phenomenal return on your investment.

“it is probably worth the 5 minutes it takes to lodge a complaint over market manipulation with ASIC. Section 1041A of the Corporations Act 2001 prohibits conduct which has, or is likely to have, the effect of creating or maintaining an artificial price for trading in various financial products.”

These toothless, hopeless bunch of jackass’s @ ASIC don’t seem to give 2 Fs as they’ve been notified umpteen times already. If they had even 1 cell of integrity or sense of justice they would have addressed the blatantly obvious breaching of the rules a long time ago.

They’re probably all in on the rort but one thing is for certain: if nothing is said, nothing is done!

One small post here takes more time and effort than lodging a online complaint so cmon people!!

Good work Silverchair.
I hounded them for months & months...... Eventually, I got a proper reply from a real person, who told me an investigation had been carried out and no action was to be taken. I'm still hounding them, as I think they have been remiss in upholding their duties and responsibilities in relation to market manipulation. She did say that there was an ongoing assessment. But, any reports to ASIC about CUV can do no harm, IMO.

You got me beat. My lowest is $1.35 USD on 11/6/13. Those were the days when 1,000 shares cost just over $1,000 instead of $30,000, but I can't complain. 😁
