Sometimes I have the impression we are watching the waves in the sea. Only the sea we don't try to explain or predict.
I like the analogy. It could perhaps be extended to include the observation that whilst you can see waves, you can't always make out the state and direction of the tide. Furthermore, maybe we, as investors, are being asked to navigate by dead reckoning without being given data on currents despite GPS being available. Maybe stretching it to breaking point, but your comment about going back to sleep also works well. I've done some blue water sailing, and one of the biggest challenges is how to deal with the long periods of boredom between short periods of massive intensity. One of the best ways is just to chat to your crew mates, and I think that's kinda what we do here for the most part.

CLINUVEL is conducting clinical trials of afamelanotide in both healthy volunteers and XP patients as part of its DNA Repair Program to confirm the drug’s ability to repair UV provoked DNA damage and protect skin from light (photoprotection)…

…Further studies in the DNA Repair Program are planned in patients with both the XP-C and XP-V complementation groups, with healthy volunteers of fair skin complexion serving as a control group
.”

In one sentence they mention healthy volunteers as a control group and in another they don’t make the distinction giving the impression they’re maybe looking to directly show DNA repair in ‘normal individuals’ and not just the unique case of XP patients.

Make of this what you will. I find it intriguing myself

True that! Is it allowed to use that data as a proove of something? Like: Control group shows enormous brown skin changes -> it works!..? Or does it need a new study to show it that it works?

@Watene Thanks for your understanding because I am definitely not a shorter as mentioned by someone on this forum, but I am genuinely p......d off with the constant MANIPULATION by whoever it is. Of course I am continuing to hold on but I must admit there are many times I have considered selling, but just maybe there will be a light at the end of the tunnel!! Toot toot.

@johnnytech One thing you might want to consider: getting rid of or deleting posts that claim Wolgen is a shorting his own company.

The claims are absurd on their face, obviously, but they're also defamatory. For the most part, criticisms posted on this website are well-founded and backed by evidence. I'd be comfortable defending anything I've said here in a court of law. Sure, you have Wally saying some kooky and obviously false things and spouting conspiracy theories about the sunscreen industry, but he isn't defaming anyone in particular. Billy, on the other hand, has said some things that are self-evidently libelous and can easily be proven false, and he has without question defamed Wolgen.

I'm not sure it's a great idea to have our online community associated with behavior like this, or at least the appearance that it's acceptable.

Your call, obviously.

Its an online forum open to anyone and everyone be they good or bad, purposely misleading or sincere or malicious or benign OR incredibly annoying and cringeworthy when childishly boasting about his/her wealth amongst other garbage at times.

Many here would have plenty of wealth of their own they just don’t have the psychological makeup that needs to express these things online where people pretend and say anything and even if true who really gives a shite anyway??

Sooooo annoooooyinngggg!!! Can’t we simply cancel these horrible people JT?!!

Says so much about the frail mentality and hypocrisy of those that attempt to cancel and “ignore” especially when they project their conceited “opinions” onto everybody regularly.

Isn’t the “thanks” tally a strong indication of community support and sentiment about somebody’s online opinion? Let BB and everyone else’s reputation literally live and die by the words that they post here and elsewhere online.

As outrageous as his assertions are about management, dodgy shit literally does happen and in places where you might least expect it too so it’s not like he’s claiming that PW is a god and the only man that could have gotten us to this point or something.

It really is childish slippery slope attempting to cancel peoples opinions that you don’t like unless they are blatantly deceptive and deceiving like our old mate levelheaded 2000s “opinions” obviously were a few years ago (to most here anyway) but even then deleting their posts is unhelpful to the rest of the forum trying to evaluate people’s true intentions and motivations here so deleting posts in my opinion does more harm than it does good.

Funny enough LHs dire and rather obvious “short and distort” statements about MT7 had support from a certain prolific poster over on GG at the time so go figure.

Childish threatening and abusive posts are obviously a different story though. No good can come from that kind of stupidity and immaturity so sure canceling and banning those types of poster would be beneficial.

Just my wacky opinion on the subject. 😎

Is the Monday webinar supposed to be the Strategic update 3? Or is it just because they want to discuss a few items going into the AGM before people vote for or against the Remuneration report?
