Scientific Patients Prevalence

All, I've been working on some info on the prevalence of the indications Clinuvel is working on. Quite some large spread can be found on the different numbers, specifically the 'rarer' indications.

Numbers should be read as lower and upper limits, and are indicated as 1 in... So, XP is 1:250.000. DNA repair is then the odd one; as in principle 1:1 (so everybody) encounters this. I've made it 1:100, but well, your guess is as good as mine. Feel free to add, and I'll be detailing it once I find more info.

When you have this info, you can add the total numbers per 'continent' and add the penetration rate...

Nice work, highly appreciated :)

Maybe I can add something out of my own research regarded XP:
Unfortunately, I did not add my used literature to my notes, but it is mostly based on clinical studies from pubmed

USA: 1: 1.000.000
Europe: 1: 250.000
Korea: 1: 183.000
Japan: 1: 40.000 and other literature says 1: 22.000

worldwide: 1: 1.000.000
Asia: 10-15: 1.000.000

I read some clinical trials (or case report series would be a better term)
and these are the estimated cases in those countries

I like the estimates. Vitiligo will never get as big as the numbers tells. But XP is way bigger because the real harmful conditions. If you include India with a prevelance of 1 to 250 you get horrified. I think the real big thing is first, DNA repair and maybe even bigger AIS.
