Thread to keep track of patents

I've been thinking about this too, specifically when people "find" something, or when Clinvuel announces something and we post it and talk about it.

To that end, how to execute it has slowed me down from just making another thread and say 'go'. There are other threads types at my disposal beside the classic "discussion".

There is a "Q&A" type, like the classic Quora page where you can upvote answers, and original poster "picks" the best. Obviously, this doesn't apply here, but just to explain the options.

There is a "article" type thread which could word. Where the original post is the focus, and all comments below it are indented like facebook posts. If comments go beyond one page, the original post is held in position at the top on the second page. Not a game change though over just another discussion thread.

What to name it?
Research
Facts
Finds

Also, instead of a countdown widget, I'm thinking a widget with just upcoming dates.

Comments welcome PLEASE. I want input to be honest because my brain hurts thinking about presentation.

Thanks JohnnyTech, I appreciate the additional context. Also I’ve got to say it again, thanks so much for all your hard work (and Mr Dax). You’ve really got me re-inspired with how well things can be done (the red tape at work has warped my mind into some slow motion reality).

Is there an option for an article or similar that can have multiple authors, like a Google sheet? I know this may not be practical however I’m thinking I have the following table of info on CUV patents and then a small group of trusted posters can refine/build on that list/table?

Good idea, especially because you'll end up having ONE place where ALL the patents are posted without the need to read through the whole thread / discussion. And by having several trusted users, this makes sure that the one creating it originally will disappear / not update anymore.

Hey JT - you read my mind that an 'Upcoming dates/events' would be much more useful than a countdown clock
